As a third generation San Diegan, Kristen appreciates natural beauty in her surroundings, within and outside of Bella D'ora. After graduating from San Dieguito Academy, and admiring Lucille Ball's talent for making people feel happy and relaxed, Kristen began her career in entertainment. She left that field, however, to attend the Marinello School of Beauty where Kristen found her calling and her passion.

Expressing a philosophy that 'beauty is health plus wellness', Kristen recognized that, as a sun-worshipper, she had not paid adequate attention to her skin. Understanding the importance of caring for skin, improving the skin itself and keeping it healthy drew Kristen to Bella D'ora where she began providing facials for Bella D'ora Guests. Her interest in nutrition and the relationship between nutrition, beauty and wellness is something Kristen wants to share with Bella D'ora guests.

With a goal of having each guest feel completely relaxed, while she makes the client's skin healthier and more beautiful, has given her great satisfaction. Having a variety of products that enable her to treat each guest's skin individually assists Kristen to creat a 'masterpiece' each time she works with a guest.
